湖南城市学院是由湖南省人民政府主办的全日制公办院校。学校位于湖南省益阳市，现有校园面积1582.5亩，建筑面积66万平方米。专任教师1467人，具有正高级专业技术职务142人，具有博士学位教师484人。有教育部高等学校教学指导委员会、教育部新世纪优秀人才、国务院特殊津贴专家等国家级和省级以上高层次人才146人次。现有全日制本科生 25000余人，研究生321名。

Hunan City University (HNCU) is a full-time public university sponsored by the People's Government of Hunan Province.The university is located in Yiyang City, Hunan Province, with a campus area of 1582.5 mu and a building area of 660,000 square meters. There are 1467 full-time teachers at HNCU, including 142 senior professional and technical positions, and 484 teachers holding doctoral degrees. There are 146 high-level experts, including members of the Undergraduate Teaching Committee in the Ministry of Education, New Century Outstanding Talents, and Experts with State Council special allowance. More than 25000 undergraduates and 321 postgraduates study at HNCU.

学校优势  Achievement

学校设有14个二级学院，44个本科专业，12个硕士专业，以工为主，涵盖理、文、管、教、艺、经、法等多个学科。学校拥有4个国家级一流本科专业建设点（电子信息工程、土木工程、工程管理、城乡规划），29个省级一流本科专业建设点。拥有土木工程国家级实验教学示范中心、国家级众创空间、省重点实验室、省工程技术中心和省社科研究基地。

The university has 14 secondary colleges, 44 undergraduate majors and 12 master courses, mainly focusing on engineering, covering science, engineering, literature, management, teaching, art, economics , law and other disciplines. The university adheres to the combination of industry, academics, research, and application, with 4 national first-class undergraduate major construction points and 29 provincial-level first-class undergraduate majors construction points, such as Electronic Information Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Urban Rural Planning. The university has national and provincial level teaching and research platforms, such as national experimental teaching demonstration centers for civil engineering, national maker spaces, and provincial key laboratories, provincial engineering technology centers, and provincial community research bases.

国际交流  International

学校坚持开放办学，国际合作交流成效明显。先后与新加坡、澳大利亚、加纳、新西兰、马来西亚、美国等国家高校开展密切合作。荣获“马来西亚高等教育年度优质合作院校”称号。目前，与国立新西兰理工所属维特利亚理工学院合作举办视觉传达设计专业本科教育项目，与加纳海岸角大学合作共建孔子学院。留学生的招生自2007年开始，已在亚洲、非洲、澳洲和美洲地区有招生。

The university adheres to open education and has achieved remarkable results in international cooperation and exchange. It has successively carried out close cooperation with universities in Singapore, Australia, Ghana, New Zealand, Malaysia, the United States and other countries. It was awarded the title of Malaysia Higher Education Annual Quality Cooperative College. The university cooperates with New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology trading as Whitireia to hold the undergraduate education project of Visual Arts and Design, and cooperates with the University of Cape Coast in Ghana to set up the Confucius Institute. The enrollment of international students has been ongoing since 2016, with international students from Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas.

入学要求  Admission Requirements

1. 年龄18周岁以上，身体健康，品行端正，具有相当于中国高中毕业或以上学历且持有外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。

2. 遵守中国法律和学校规章制度，尊重中国风俗习惯，学习成绩优异。

1. Non-Chinese citizens who are over 18 years old, sound in body and mind, and well-conducted; with the equivalent of Chinese high school graduation or above; with a valid foreign passport;

2. Non-Chinese citizens who abide by the laws of the Chinese government and rules & regulations of HNCU, respect Chinese customs and habits, and are excellent for academic performance.

2-3人间2400元/年 Each student will pay ¥2,400 per year for twin or triple room;

4  人间 1200元/年 Each student will pay ¥1,200 per year for quad room.

保险费  Insurance Fee

800元/学年 Each student will pay ¥800 per year.

2. 湖南城市学院来华留学生奖学金

湖南城市学院为优秀来华留学学历生提供奖学金，根据学生在校表现，有机会获得最高额度为15000元的奖学金。

1. Scholarship for Chinese language learning students from the countries along “The Belt and Road”

Hunan Provincial Government provides scholarship of an academic semester or an academic year for outstanding students from the countries along “The Belt and Road”.

2. HNCU International Students Scholarship

HNCU provides scholarship for outstanding international degree students according to the performance of each degree student. Degree students may receive scholarships of up to RMB 15,000.

10.两名教授或副教授的推荐信（申请攻读硕士提供）

11. 经济条件证明（提供足以支付在中国留学的学费、住宿费、生活费等担保证明）

12.目前在华或曾在华工作、学习等申请者，需提供相应的证明资料。如有其它可以证明申请者学业能力和综合素质的文件，可在申请时一并提交。

12. Student who is currently working or studying or has ever worked or studied in China shall provide corresponding supporting materials. In addition, other documents that can prove the academic ability and comprehensive quality of the applicant may be submitted.

其他 Others

我校将对初审合格的申请者进行面试或专业复试，面试或专业复试不合格者，不予录取。

HNCU will conduct an interview or a professional reexamination for those who pass the preliminary examination. Those who fail the interview or professional reexamination will not be admitted.
