学校简介  

University Profile

湖南城市学院是由湖南省人民政府主办的全日制公办本科院校，是湖南省应用特色学院。2020年起，学校调入湖南省本科一批录取。2021年，学校获批新增硕士学位授予单位，现有4个硕士学位授权招生专业。学校位于湖南省益阳市，现有校园面积1415亩，建筑面积59.25万平方米。拥有固定资产15.23亿元，图书馆藏总量227万册。教职工1709人，学生 24000余人，其中专任教师1416人，具有正高级专业技术职务141人，具有博士学位教师373人。有教育部高等学校教学指导委员会、教育部新世纪优秀人才、国务院特殊津贴专家等国家级和省级以上高层次人才137人（次）。

Hunan City University is a full-time public undergraduate university sponsored by the People's Government of Hunan Province and Hunan Provincial College of Applied Characteristics. Starting from 2020, our school became one of the first-round universities to enroll undergraduates in Hunan Province. In 2021, our school became Master's degree awarding unit. There are currently 4 majors which are authorized to grant master's degrees. The university is located in Yiyang City, Hunan Province, with a campus area of 1415 mu and a building area of 592,500 square meters. It has fixed assets of 1.523 billion yuan, 2.27 million books. There are 1709 staff and more than 24000 students，including 1416 full-time teachers, 141 holding senior professional and technical positions, and 373 teachers holding doctoral degrees. There are 137 high-level talents, including members of the Undergraduate Teaching Committee in the Ministry of Education, New Century Outstanding Talents, and Experts with State Council special allowance.

Teaching Advantages

学校设有15个二级学院，57个本科专业，以工为主，涵盖理、文、管、教、艺、经、法等多个学科。学校拥有6个湖南省“双一流”应用特色学科，4个国家级一流本科专业建设点（电子信息工程、土木工程、工程管理、城乡规划），29个省级一流本科专业建设点。拥有土木工程国家级实验教学示范中心、国家级众创空间、省重点实验室、省工程技术中心和省社科研究基地。

The university has 15 secondary colleges and 57 undergraduate majors, mainly focusing on engineering, covering science, engineering, literature, management, teaching, art, economics , law and other disciplines. The school adheres to the combination of industry, academics, research, and application, with 6 "Double First-Class" applied characteristic disciplines in Hunan Province, 4 national first-class undergraduate major construction points (Electronic Information Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Urban Rural Planning)，29 provincial-level first-class undergraduate majors construction points and teaching and research platforms, such as national experimental teaching demonstration centers for civil engineering, national maker spaces, and provincial key laboratories, provincial engineering technology centers, and provincial community research bases.

国际交流  

International Exchange

学校坚持开放办学，国际合作交流成效明显。先后与新加坡、澳大利亚、加纳、新西兰、马来西亚、美国等国家高校开展密切合作。荣获“马来西亚高等教育年度优质合作院校”称号。目前，与澳门科技大学合作，推荐应届毕业生就读澳门科技大学硕士学位。与新西兰维特利亚理工学院合作举办视觉传达设计专业本科教育项目，与加纳海岸角大学合作共建孔子学院。留学生的招生自2016年开始，已在亚洲、非洲、澳洲和美洲地区有招生。

The university adheres to open education and has achieved remarkable results in international cooperation and exchange. It has successively carried out close cooperation with universities in Ghana, New Zealand, Malaysia, the United States and other countries. It was awarded the title of "Malaysia Higher Education Annual Quality Cooperative College". A cooperation agreement is signed with the Macao University of Science and Technology to recommend the new graduates to study the Master's Program of the Macao University of Science and Technology. The university cooperates with Whitireia Community Polytechnic of New Zealand to hold the undergraduate education project of Visual Art and Design, and cooperates with the University of Cape Coast in Ghana to set up the Confucius Institute. The enrollment of international students has been ongoing since 2016, with students from Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas.

入学要求  

Admission Requirements

年龄18周岁以上，身体健康，具有相当于中国高中毕业或以上学历且持有外国有效护照的非中国籍公民，获得新HSK（汉语水平考试）4级或以上；未参加新HSK考试但具有相当水平的学生需参加我校语言测试。

Non-Chinese citizen; over 18 years old; in good health; with the equivalent of Chinese high school graduation or above; with a valid foreign passport; having passed the new HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Level 4 or above, or passing the language test of Hunan City University.

收费  

Charge

备注：汉语语言生：第一年来华的可申请语言生奖学金，满足条件的学生可以免学费、住宿费、保险费。学历生可申请省级奖学金，适当减免学费。学费不包含住宿费、生活费、书本费、体检费、签证费、保险费等。对于成绩特别优秀的学生，学校还设立了校级奖学金。

Note: Chinese language leaners can apply for the language leaner scholarship in the first year. The student who satisfies the conditions can exempt tuition, accommodation fees, insurance fees. Degree leaners can apply for the Provincial Scholarship, can reduce parts of the tuition. The tuition fee does not include accommodation, living expenses, book fees, medical examination fees, visa fees, insurance fees etc. The University has also established school-level scholarship for students with particularly excellent grades.
